I find baseball to be boring and slow-paced BUT if the Phillies win the World Series (basically beat Team Overpaid) I probably officially become a Phillies fan.

Although I do think people from Philadelphia talk funny and are cranky.

why do people hate that the yankees decide to pay to win a championship? isnt what people what? you people should be mad at teams that dont pay jack**** to their players and pocket the money for themselves.

I think anyone that gets paid $1 million to play any sport should consider themselves lucky. Those are just my feelings on the subject, I was raised to be humble and appreciate what I have and not be greedy.

And I'm not saying that all the Yankee players are in it for the money (ps...A-Rod is btw) but I can't respect an organization that just tries to buy up all the best players just to try and win. That speaks nothing for the coaching or the organization itself.

Winning a championship shouldn't be based on who has the most money.

brah, im bitter that people who doesnt contribute nothing to society get pay millions of dollars. but what can we do about it? theres no point in bitching about it. if you can milk the system out of like 300mil or so, you would do the same. i know i would. hell, hit a golf ball and become a billionaire...

lulz, how about that. arod comes in the clutch. looks like the yanks is winning in 5 games. those espn people are a bunch of douche, red sox bias right there. although the yankees won, they will say anything to make them look bad.

even if they win, people will say "they bought their ring." if they lose, they will say "they cant buy a ring." love it!

If A rod was just in it for the money then he could of retired a long time ago man,
he was banking $100 mil 10 years ago
it's just like anything, you do a job and you get rated for your performance
you feel like you are worth a certain amount and if somebody out there agrees that you are in fact worth that much then they will be willing to pay for it
some wont
in this case one team was willing to shell out the money, and others weren't
can't be mad at that

who's to say that you aren't overpaid for what you do

as far as winning a championship based on who spent the most money,
thats not always the case
having the highest payroll doesn't garrantee a championship
other factors can come into play, the team underperforms, having key injuries,
it's about how a team responds and comes together
sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't

finally the Yanks went to the bullpen, and showed some confidence in Joba
did good on sat.
but gave up the homer in tonights game
but it all worked out
got to give it up to Rivira he's having to pitch alot, but he's coming thru

hopefully the Yankees can close this out on monday

Jeter and Damon are clutch players. I think they are seizing a momment. Johnnie may not be back next year. Arod with the clutch nineth ining hit. He also woke the Yanks up with the camera shot on Saturday. It's not over, but the fat lady is warming up. Maybe 12 hours from now Danny Don is a singing, but we'll see. Fun night, MNF and World Series. I'll tuned to both.

Yeah congrats, u just bought urselves another championship, that's something to really be proud of. MLB FTMFL, put in a salary cap already and maybe then the Yankees winning a championship will actually mean something. Baseball is a freaking joke!!
