U were saying? Ben don't look so good now, looks like the "Stealers" aren't gonna be able to make off with another SB again!

If you can't tell, I'm a Seahawk fan

I a too impatient and I want the season to start. I will be at the Thursday, September, 10th season opener in the 'Burgh. Look for me, I'll be wearing Black and Gold.

I know that most of the fans aroud the league like the preseason, but that's because this is the only time of the year where you have a legitimate chance for the the Lombardi. By week 4, most of the teams will be wondering where they will be in the draft order.

I root for the team that is always in the mix at the end of the year. Since the merger we have set more records than anyone and now we are approaching the most wins even though we joined the league 15 years after the original teams. If we went 12-4 last year with the toughest schedule and a sub-par O-line, look out this year. The schedule is much easier and we are returning 20 of 22 starters from a team that won the Super Bowl.

Those of you may think even the Texans have a chance, but by week 2 you'll be wondering what the college players look like since you'll be drafting high again.

Good luck fans. We're lookign for number 7. Interesting Big Ben number 7 wins number 7 for the franchise (the best franchise in sports). Has nice ring, eh.

We all know about the Steelers legacy. I was the biggest Steelers fan in the world as a kid, in their earlier glory days. Bradshaw grew up near where I'm from. My mast name happens to be Harris and I always thought Franco was the man. My first number was 88 for You Know Who. I first wanted to try defense because of the Steel Curtain's secondary.

I like preseason only because I like seeing rookies and undrafted free agents work so hard to try to make the cut and to get the first look at new veteran signings. I don't know that your boys will waltz into tge Superbowl like you think, but they should gave a great team again. I really like Mike Tomlin.
Thanks for the old school props. I love Mike Tomlin. Three great coaches in a row. What great decision making. Bubby Brister was from down that way also.

It looks like the Saints may be quite formable this year. I really like Drew Brees. Watched him at Purdue when I first moved to Indiana. I think is has great talent.

I really think the Steelers will be 14-2, even with a healthy Brady this year. Not a defense in the league like the one we have. The early reports are that James Harrison looks even better this year than last. That would be ridicules. I have not been this hyped about an NFL year since 1995, the year after we lost to San Diego in the AFC Championship game.

Might see the Saints in the Super Bowl. At least down your way even on Saturday you get a great SEC match-up. I'll put my college smack on the college thread.

Yes, I know it's ONLY preseson...

But the Saints kicked the dog piss out of the Texans tonight! 38-14 and it didn't look that close. They dominated both lines of scrimmage, and looked good doing it. Great play on both sides of the ball. Special teams looked very sloppy though. I think there were 5 penalties for not enough men on the line of scrimmage. 5. All on the kick/punt teams. Had a field goal taken away because of one. Unacceptable. The only special teams bright spot was a fantastic 79 yard punt return TD, but even that had an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the moron rookie Ron Harper dancing into the end zone like he was playing Madden. What a jackass. I hope he gets cut.

Saints look good for his year if they can stay healthy.

There is some massive crack being smoked in here...

14-2? Pre-season butt-kickings? Weren't the Lions undefeated in the pre-season last year?

If your team sucks and you'd rather not talk about them or you don't understand football smack talking , it's OK.

It is fun though. Give it a try, you can do it!

Your just upset LA does not have a team. How does a city that large not have an NFL franchise? Don't be a hater if you community does not support the league.

My boys looked ok, but Ben sat out. 1st team looked good. The most unusual thing about the game was that I watched them loose. That reminded of two things, how much I hate loosing and how long it has been since I watch them loose.

If Manny only played football, LA would be all about football or should I say Futbol.

Manny would only play hard on 1st down. He'd just kind of loaf around and look retarded on 2nd or 3rd unless the play was coming to him. Kind of like the way he plays baseball.

Hey smart guy, if you look back on this thread you'll see I'm a SEAHAWKS fan, born and raised....

Kinda like how you live in IN but are a Stealers fan, I'm in CA but a Hawks fan....amazing how that works huh?

I don't give two craps about LA sports! So basically your post is a big FAIL, just like your Stealers will be this year with that sex offender at QB.

Betty, was that a little better?

HAHAHA.

Man I'm waiting until the Pre-Seasons are over. I'm hoping the saints pull a miracle this year and win the first superbowl. Its highly unlikely but im keep positive about them this year.

Why the hell is it "highly unlikeley"? They have the most potent offense in the NFL. And it looks better this year than last. Defense is vastly improved. They seem to have it together so far. I think the only X factor is the same thing every team has - injuries.

I don't know, they just always seem to mess up somewhere when they are doing very well. Also football is really unpredictable because someone can also get injured. Don't get me wrong I love the saints and watch em every year but sometime we get the most bad luck. Especially during hurricane seasons lol
