Congrats! At this point they are probably more deserving than the Tigers of that ranking. To be the best you have to beat the best and LSU didn't get it done. Maybe if/when our offense gets fixed we'll be back up there. Dropped to 10 in the polls and still have lots of chance to climb with the top teams playing tough opponents down the road and the Tigers having their own destiny in their hands with Auburn, 'Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas still to play. Winning out puts the Tigers in the SEC championship game. I think the winner of that game goes to the National Championship game even with one loss.

Yea, there has to be a SEC team in the National Championship Game. I mean, they have the toughest conference BY FAR in the country. The ACC is a joke...complete joke. Besides Tech, there isn't one good team. I still think LSU is underrated. They haven't received much press compared to usual in Virginia.

that touchdown shouldn't have happened. offensive pass interference went overlooked by the ref's. still would have lost though, but it could have been 6-3 instead.

True, lots of horrendous officiating going on in that game both ways - a typical SEC officiating performance. I thought that one was particularly blatant but apparently none of the refs saw our DB get his get his jersey ripped off. Like you said though that's not why the Tigers lost, just like the horrible call against Georgia last week isn't why they lost. Their great defensive performance was wasted because the offense couldn't get anything going.

#10 now with a week off before Auburn. I'd like to see some improvement and some changes on offense before we push through the second half of the season and try to make the SEC championship.

exactly. i really don't agree with how low we dropped in the polls. what do they expect from a #4 going up against a #1 team? with teams like V Tech, USC, Ohio St, and Miami all with a loss in their conferences, it seems unlikely that we'd drop that low for losing to the top team.

granted our offense didn't do squat to make any of the pollers feel better..

Tech lost to Alabama and they are ranked number two, so we are pretty much in the same boat.

What game were you watching? That was one if the most horribly officiated games I've seen in a while. SEC officiating is an embarassment to football and it's getting worse each week. If the Gators win it all they should send the trophy to the SEC officials office. The Hogs got royally screwed. Multiple times. Badly.

wanna talk about a bad game, the ou vs tx game was horrible, first off bradford got hurt again, no one wants to see that, and i hate OU more than i hate a dirty armpit in my face, thoughts with him
secondly texas offense was horrible the last few games. if it werent for the defense/special teams, we'd woulnt have that 6-0 record, im unimpressed with my team, they better kick it up all a notch for the rest of the season, i mean given colt wasnt healthy and fingernails flying off his fingers, but still, bad offense

thirdly, arkansas florida game was pretty crazy, and believe me i was rootin for arkansas, sadface

I disagree with the "Play of the Game" being Julio's 73 yard reception.

I submit that the "Play of the Game" should have gone to the replay booth official deciding that Peterson's interception was an incomplete pass... That guy must have been wearing a crimson shirt for sure.
