lsu fans are nuts, ever since they won the championship in 03, this whole city has gone nutty. guess thats a good thing about sports; it beings the community together. the only way lsu still have a chance at a bcs championship bowl is if they kill alabama by like 50 points so they can jump up in the polls.

i love lsu but hate jarrett lee. he the only qb i known that play for LSU that walk around town and everyone see him and say he sucks haha. If we would have play the jefferson guy or whatever his name was(i forgot at this moment) we might have got further. that last game 30-31 i was pretty piss

That was last year. This year he can't seem to coach, motivate, or even control his players worth a damn. He makes horrible game management and personnel decisions. 7-5 with the talent he has on that team is way unacceptible. His co-defensive coordinators are horrible and he's not likely to fire them. They couldn't coach Pop Warner football. LSU has 4 main rivals ('Bama, Ole Miss, Tulane, Florida) and he managed to lose to 3 of them in one season. You know that last time that has happened? NEVER. 3 of those games were at home where LSU almost never loses. He's got to go before he brings the program down. Our boys and our university deserve better. Our boosters and alumni are not the type to give him a free pass on a year this bad. There is probably already a secret search for his replacement.

Yeah, we all know the outcome of the Florida match up this year. The previous year was all LSU though. I think he's trying to rely on the success of last year rather than pushing them to achieve excellence. (I know that sounds lame.)

It doesn't sound lame, I think you're right. I can see the program on the cusp of slipping into a decline. They younger players have no sense of direction; a lot of last year's success was based on upper classmen who have moved on. Look at what Saban (although he is an a-hole) is able to do with true freshmen at 'Bama. They went from not nearly ranked to #1 in a single season. It's becasue he can coach. LSU moved from National Champs to National Chumps in a single season. It's because Miles' staff can't coach.

It pains my heart.

So true. The Tigers "shouda" beat 'Bama this year and the Saints "shoulda" beat the Bucs yesterday. But your boys will be in the SEC championship game and the NFL playoffs while mine watch on TV. You suck.

It's not Lee's fault that he sucks, he just does. He doesn't have the poise, athleticism, or ability to read a pass defense to play in the SEC. But it IS the coach's fault for leaving him in the games when he was obvioulsy in way over his head. He threw 14 TD's and 16 INT's this season. But 7 of those INT's were for defensive touchdowns! Amazing! After he threw 2 interceptions that got returned for TD's in the Georgia game, he should have been pulled. He has completed as many TD passes to one Georgia linebacker as to any one of his recievers. That's poor game management on Miles' part for letting him suck so badly without pulling him. His excuse was that "Jefferson's not ready yet." Jefferson played pretty damn good for a first time starter agains Arkansas. If Lee starts next season as the starter over Jefferson, all hell will brake loose in TigerLand.

i actually think that LSU will play the freshman from russell shepard next year i think. cant remember
