Amen to that, brother. Denver Nogets (not Nuggets) lost. Lakers have won 8 straight games against them. I've gotta admit, though, Iverson is still one of my favorites, Carmelo is a very good shooter, J.R. Smith is a great athlete, and that's it.

Lakers looked shakey at times, however the real test is coming up, Rockets, Mav's, Detriot, and the 4th team I think is Suns... I forgot lol

The deal is Chauncey Billups, McDyess, and Samb from Detroit
what do you guys think of this trade
I think Denver should of got Prince instead of McDyess in that deal
not that I care, don't give a damn about the Nuggets or Detroit

Great trade IMO. Detriot needed to switch things up, and the whole Iveron-Melo thing really wasn't working out. Well, the Lakers play both teams this month.

i would say dever got the better side of the deal. they have billups who is a better guard which will dish out more assists and run the high octane offense.

Definately! The west coast is going to be big again with those three added to the Denver roster.

Nuggets maybe just secured the 8th seed,

Detroit will make a great run, locked up the #2 seed. and next year Iverson is a free agent and they can shake things up. Goodbye Detroit.

detroit has made it to the conf finals for like 4 years in a row and lost all 4 of them. they needed something that will get them over that hump.

See the thing is I guess Detroit wants to use Iverson as the point guard, but I think he's better playing the shooting guard position. I don't know if this locks Denver for the 8th seed, remember they lost their best defender in Camby, they lose his rebounding and block shot ability and this trade doesn't address that problem. Billups is a good defender, even though he got worked from Rondo last season in the playoffs, but that should help a little bit. I think it will be Golden State, Clippers, and Denver fighting for the 8th seed, and I think the Clippers might take the 8th seed this time, but it is the Clippers so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it to the playoffs.

Billups gives them a steady point guard and balance in the team, and a true leader, Sorry Melo'!

they will be more consistent, and I'm sure Nene and Jr Smith will step up on D this season. K-Mart is doing better each season, despite surgery. They will take the 8th seed, Portland isn't ready yet.

Clippers are 0-4. Horrible. They needed Brand. Looks like a top 3 pick in next years draft yet again.
