I don't think the Blazers are a sleeper since they did better than expected last year.

A lot of people are saying the Clippers are sleepers because they look like the Blazers last year. They have a young core with two very good veterans in Camby & Davis. Eric Gordon should make a contribution immediately.

Even though I am a crazy Laker fan, I don't believe they can make it to the promised lands again, they are too damn soft defensive. They need some toughness, and that is MR RON RON!

football is not a real sport. playing with pads are for pussies. rugby is a man sport. its like a football/soccer without pads.

dont worry man, bynum is a huge upgrade. Nobody will be able to get rebounds over him and gasol. On top of that we got odom (if he isnt traded), all three average 10 rbs a game, so thats going to be sick. I dont want to see odom go, id rather have the Lakers put some sort of deal with radman and farmar, or luke for artest, only cuz odom is a team player and one of the glue guys on the team. Imagine Odom off the bench, or even Ron at point guard, and odom at SF. We would have a beat of a team, and the opponents would get like 3 rebounds over us.

Lakers will never trade their core for Ron Ron. Kings want Odom and that's that. If Lakers aren't excelling by mid season, don't be surprised if this trade option is revisited.

There's still that rumor though that Artest could go to the Pistons. The Lakers better pull the trigger soon. I say they should just do it now, Odom's to streaky of a player anyway. He shows up for one game and is gone at the next, then shows up again. Artest is consistent and is tough, which is what the Lakers need. If they need to get Artest early so that they can adjust to him an he can adjust to the triangle early. Phil's system is hard to just jump into the middle of the season.

Not only that, Odom's contract is bulky and huge, Ron Ron is only a mid-level exceptation almost at 7 mil a year. That could be important for next summers off-season in picking up another key free agent.

Mavs rejected the trade by the Kings
It was Josh Howard for Ron Ron

Pistons are interested in T-mac, and Ron Ron, but I doubt any of these teams will pull the trigger. Remember Ron Ron isn't the biggest fan in Detriot after that big brawl LOL

Yeah, I know he's not liked too much in Detroit, but I don't think they should let the fans decide. They need his intensity and grit anyway since they lost that once Big Ben left town, and especially how Rasheed just kept hugging and high fiving KG all series long.

I wanna see if Amare can do what he did last year when the Suns picked up Shaq and he was able to move back to the 4 spot.

That's what the Mavs want to give, but the Kings want Josh Howard.
