Got my first Eagle today! - Page 2

anyone had a hole in one? i've had one, and it was when i was 16!

Yeah I've had two. First when I was 14 second at 19. Due for another one in 2 years hahaha

Never had a hole in 1 in the 11 years I played golf. However, I have had close to 10 eagles. Two stand out for me, as it was the same hole back to back on the golf course (about a 1 month gap from when I played there before). The hole is a par 5, uphill with a drive across a lake.

First Time:
Great drive, mediocre 3 wood uphill (blind shot) that went straight as an arrow. Got to the green and it was 3ft from the hole, rolled the putt in.

Second Time:
Good drive, but too far to risk taking on the 3 wood again (it was clearly in my mind). Played a safe 4 iron to 100 yards, then hit a knocked down pitching wedge that slam dunked the hole, taking the front of it out. I couldn't see it due to the elevation, but the sound was great, along with some bystanders laughing in suprise.

I don't want to play the hole again, need to retire on the above!

Congrats OP!

My first eagle was on a par 4 about 280. Drove the green and rolled in a 35 footer. Unbelievable day.
