Nascar fans?

Daytona 500 this weekend. This past weekend was the bud shoot out. Dale jr won his first race out in hendrick power. ya boy. thats my team. Gordon is my fav driver but support all my teams drivers. Hendrick is for sure the super power in nascar. Johnson, earnhardt,gordon, mears. watch out now. Johnson on pole...

I'm a bigtime Nascar fan. Ever since I was little. My favorite Nascar driver was Dale Earnhardt Sr. The last time I went to the Daytona 500 was back in 01' when Dale Sr passed away. Now I'm going to the 50th running of the Daytona 500 this Sunday. I'm going with 2 female friends of mines. We've had our tickets since last June. We're going to be in turn 4. I can't wait. I'm a diehard Dale Jr fan. I have his new Amp/National Guard race jacket in black that just came out and can't wait to sport it at the race on Sunday. That Bud shootout last weekend was something else. Finally Jr is in a real team and with a strong car. I can't wait this Thurs when he races in the Gatorade Duel race.

Good stuff. I am going to be up there also. My gf works for power 96 so we get free stuff all the time. She got me a package with tower terrace tickets, infeld passes, garage passes, and track walk pass. Cant wait

He was up front all day with a great car until he had suspension problems. He's still got it. He'll be top 5 this year if he doesn't win the series.

ya you must be one of those guys who looks at the end result and makes comments. He was a front runner the entire race. he was one of the only cars that could keep pace with the gibbs toyota's. If the suspension mount didnt bend he probably could have won.

Well, I'm 69. Been a BIG fan since ever since I can remember. Sr. was always my man. In the early days, Fireball Roberts. I've always liked Ricky Rudd. Soft spot in my Heart for Mark Martin. Heard a new name for JR over the weekend "Rocket 88", Wonder if it will stick. Though of us who are old enough, know what it means.

That last lap sure was exciting. Smoke made a mistake and Kurt, for once, did the right thing for the team.

1) Denny Hamlin - Fedex #11
2) Tony Stewart - Home Depot #20
3) Dale Jr. - Amp Energy #88

I went to the Kobalt Tools 500 in Atlanta a few weeks ago. Great race.
