Houston G35/G37 meet - July 4, 2009

What?: A meet for G37/G35 owners and their wonderful machines!

Who?: Any owners/enthusiasts/potential owners/significant others of G35s or G37s. Bring friends.

When?: Saturday July 4, 2009 5:00 PM until we go home.

Where?: Memorial Park in Houston TX, exact site TBD

Why?: You don't need a reason when you own the sexiest cars on the planet.

There were about 40 cars that showed up at out last meet in February. It was cold and windy, I doubt we'll have that problem this time. Let's shoot for a bigger turnout this time - 75 G's!

Suggestions still needed on specific location in the park to actually meet. Shade preferable.

I think Jeremy was going for the later time to avoid the heat of the day... we all remember last years summer meet.... Also the fireworks wont start until at least 9:00pm-ish.... which gives us plenty of time!!

DrJones, I have a question about your philips ultinon 6k bulb. You know your stock HID when you first turn them on, they're that blueish white color and then it warms up and looks whitish yellow. Well do your philips 6k bulbs look like what the stock bulbs look like when first turning them on? I am trying to get my headlights to match and want to know so I can order the bulbs.

When I first turn them on (for about 15-20 seconds) they are dark blue/purple... when they are finally warm they are a very light purplish/white.... the "hint" of yellow is still present but it is not as bad as what the stockies produce.

65ook is just a bit more purple/white then mine and may help.... just keep in mind they are not blue and will not match the Superbrightleds (cool white) that nearly everyone got for the city lights....

Wow really? Purple? Strange. I thought they would be more blue. I guess I'll have to see them in person to be sure.

I've also got 6000K HID but a different brand if you care to compare them. Danny's Philips Ultinon's are some of the best ones out there quality wise IMO.
