Got a new DSLR and was messing around in Lightroom. Still learning how to use both, but thought the direct positive filter looked cool.

Canon T1i. The shot was taken with the 18-55mm IS, but I have a Sigma 17-70mm on the way.

nice the sigma 17-70 is a great walk around lens. tho the variable aperture drove me crazy sometimes. nice filter effect!

Thanks. I was actually considering the Tamron 28-75mm due to the constant f/2.8, but in the end decided I didn't want to lose my wide angle. The new Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC is nice too, but I wanted more reach than my 18-55mm kit lens. I think I'm going to save up for the new Canon 15-85mm IS even with the variable aperature...its been getting some really great reviews. I'll just use primes if I want a constant aperature. Plus I got a REALLY good deal on the Sigma...Hopefully its a sharp copy.

get a circular polarizing filter and you will see the pearl in ivory pearl!

I use it on my XSi
