Cool Wheels Spacers installed!

Just installed some 20mm hubcentric spacers. For some reason, I get a vibration at 60+mph after the install. Should I have gotten Ichiba or HKS instead of the no names from ebay?

Edit/Update: Vibration fixed with this method - http://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy/...ation-fix.html

Anyway, it looks great. Steering definitely feels different. ****ty iPhone pics!

Looks good. Vibration could be from over-torquing; did you install the spacers yourself? What brand did you get?

Take a look at this post and the link in the post. I did this and it really works. Until I did it, I did not understand why. Not sure you can do the same depending on how your spacers are designed.

Look Here of Possible Solution

Yeah, I didn't know these were the two piece ones. Glad I didn't spend the extra $70 on Ichibas since apparently they are the same way.

Yeah, I found that earlier tonight. Gonna try it first thing tomorrow! I had a hard time locating the copper wire, but I found it!

A couple of people have mentioned having problems finding the #10 wire. I just went to Home Depot and bought 3 strand #10 electrical wire and then took it apart to get the solid copper #10 I needed.

Is there a spacer that works out of the box with the 18" OEM wheels that doesn't cause vibrations?

Great. After reading the G35driver post and taking the wheel off and looking at it, I saw why such a simple thing worked. All it really does is force better alignment of the wheel and tire to the hub hence better balance. Some mention road force balancing as an option and they should work, but whenever you took the wheel off for anything it would have to go back on at exactly the same orientation.
