They are actually slightly different if you look carefully. If you look towards the side, the 085 has spokes with a uniform curvature while the 078 has a slight bump towards the center. The 2 piece screw design is different also.

true true. thanks. I still am not sure why they made a wheel soooo close in resemblance. Looks good regardless

Thanks!!! Yah they are very different but slightly similar!!! I have the JP Front lip and side strikes BTW... I would say they remind me of the 84's only With twin spokes !

Thank you!!! they are beutiful in person, these and the 83's are my favorites...maybe more the 83's but these have more of a sporty aggresive look! 83's were...well very clean and classy looking. im still debating wether i should switch back!

Honestly I came over here to see if 78's would clear akebonos. It's good to know that the 85's will. Hopefully the same is true for the 78's.
