I'm guessing this are just normal cars... since wouldn't you think something like the limited edition Veyron or Lambo Reventon would be on that list? or even that new SLR McClaren Stirling Moss edition?

But that list makes sense I would think. I know for a fact the Prius is hard to get, because of the crazy demand.

Ya I'm sure Forbes has an exotic rare car list but for the practical buyer these are they.

uh how do they come up with these lists. I bet you can walk into any dealer and buy every one of those cars on the list. May not be the color you want but they will have one.

But Audi isn't the only manufacturer with several vehicles in high demand. Detroit has a fine showing with Chevrolet's super-hot Camaro, which is sold out virtually everywhere--its sales even topped those of the iconic Ford Mustang in July. Ford's Escape and Escape Hybrid also made our list of the cars that are most difficult to get this summer.

Its all about supply and demand.

are you kidding me? a few months ago we sold 19 of them in one month. we sell probably consistenly 8-10 a month and the only colors available are black, black, silver indulgence, and black.
The white ones we are getting closer to sticker for still.

preowned? forget about it-- the prices of preowned QX's are going up.

I had a friend pick one up from me last year for $19k and then 8 months later he traded it in for a new car and got $26k for it when gas prices went down.

Grossman Chevrolet in Old Saybrook must have 20 Camaros on their lot right now. Saw them (ALL...each and EVERY one...SILVER) with my own eyes yesterday.

That list must not include MN. I can walk into any delearship here and get those in at least 3 different colors.
