Road & Track New Issue - Infiniti G37S vs. Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Just got my copy of Road & Track in and while flipping through the pages I noticed the road test comparison between the Infiniti G37S and the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6 Track Edition.

I recommend picking up a copy for yourself. They LOVE our cars! The whole article is just saying how amazing the G37 is and how the Hyundai is close, but no cigar. The ONLY downside that they mentioned was price but who cares, we win!

Under "Engine/Drivetrain" first words are "No contest here, the Infiniti is the hands-down winner."

Another great quote, "Sure, the Infiniti is a better machine across the board in virtually every area when compared to its Korean counterpart."

Last one, my favorite, "Yes, the G37 Coupe is significantly more costly than the Genesis, but when you consider the Infiniti's overall refinement, rich materials, sophisticated control interface, nimbleness in handling transitions and solid in slugs of torque summoned from virtually anywhere in the rev range, it's like brining a Walther PPK to a knife fight."

I will give it to Hyundai for, I can't believe I am saying this, making a bomb *** car. That little ****er is fast... but we're faster!

What's the price running on those? Did they compare it to anything else? I could see it spanking V6 Mustangs and being right there with GTs.

See that would make sense but apparently "Hyundai set its sights on the BMW 335i and the Mazda RX-8 as the Genesis Coupe's target bench marks..."

I would agree with the mustang comparison though.

i think it's always been pretty obvious design-wise that they were going after the G35/G37.
