Numbers are in!!!!

Wow! I couldn't be happier! Made more power than i expected!

So Sean Ivey tuned it at 33psi but since my boost gauge only read up to 30psi he set the boost at 29psi right now.

So as the car sits now at 29psi it makes 431whp & 369wtq!!

Now...at 33psi...which is what its tuned and once i get a higher reading boost gauge i can raise it to this...it puts down 462whp & 399wtq!!!!

Im driving it at 29psi now and it feels like a beast...just keeps pulling HARD! I can't wait till i raise it to 33psi. Tuner even told me once i through some race gas in there i can easely bring it to 35psi at the track.

This was done on a Dynojet by the way. I'll post the graph with both 29psi and 33psi pulls either later tonight or tomorrow.

431whp???? WOW that is amazing! You need to go back to the drap strip now!

Does it still feel as responsive though or did upgrading your turbo introduce some sort of lag down low?

honestly its true when people say lag is over rated. daily driving feels the same for me. yea its obviuosly more laggy but im seeing 5psi by 2.5k rpm already and it builds quick. it won't hit full boost as quick as the stocker but it starts building low still.

here is the dyno graph at both 29psi and 33psi:

I'm not complaining man haha those numbers are just beyond amazing! Was hoping it didn't affect responsiveness that much that's all.

Do you have dyno's of the stock map by any chance?

Here is a dyno sheet of my exact set-up before these parts...kinda hard to read. So all the bolt ons and tuned:

Also here are 3 videos i took...its a real pain to try and record the rpm's cause the autometer gauge cup i used to hold my wideband sits WAY to high and blocks my tach pretty good.

side note: my "ASC off" light will go on and you'll notice the screen have the yellow skid marks...its not a CEL or anything. just my traction...i believe the extra power sets it off.

3rd-4th Gear (50-100mph) (windows closed)

3rd Gear rpm pull & 4th Gear 60-100mph (windows closed)

1st-4th gear slow driving to show how boost comes on:

as you can see this turbo does spool up quick when its in the right power range...and it still builds boost good down low for daily driving. eventually i'll get some drive-by vids.

Now its time to do some "show" mods. Rexpeed makes carbon fiber parts exclusively for Evo's. They are very high quality and price right! I really wish you guys had a company like Rexpeed that makes CF parts for the G37. Website is Rexpeed.net and you can see how they make almost every part in CF and there all priced very very good.

Parts came in yesterday and i will be installing them tonight. So here are some un-installed pics for now.

Part list:
  • Rexpeed CF Bumper Cover
  • Rexpeed CF Side Fender Vents
  • Rexpeed CF Vortex Generator
  • Rexpeed CF Hood Dampers
  • Rexpeed CF Antenna

Antenna:

Hood Dampers:

Bumper Cover:

Side Fender Vents:

So i've been a little lazy and haven't updated this thread in a while...forgot to add the installed pics of all that sexy CF. So here is the installed pics. And also this passed week i added a CF trunk. Main reason i got this trunk is because i love the wingless look on the X's and this trunk has a nice little wing extension. Looks killer on the white also...and weights alot less than stock. On to the pics...trunk at the bottom:

And here is the most recent install...CF Trunk:
