My biggest issue is giving up the comfort that the G provides. The M3 is a beast, but the G can also be a beast compliments of GTM and a few suspension mods.

I also guess everything happens for a reason, as I happened to come across the maintenance figures for the GT-R

I really wish I had a clear decision.

yeah, maintenance on the GT-R is CRAAAAZY. I can't believe they tried to pull the wool over your eyes man. VERY smart to get that 30 day supplemental warranty/return. I would have been righteously pissed off. Yeah, go for the M3 bro....Alpine White is hotttt, it's a sexy car. Yes, it rides rougher than the G37, but that V8 is a BEAST. Then again, you could always go back to the idea of TT'ing your G37. Not a bad idea. But personally, I still would be wary of voiding my engine warranty with an aftermarket TT kit. That's just my opinion and I know that there are plenty of HAPPY GTM TT kit owners here. I'd be just as confused bro!! (I still say go M3 )

Yeh funny thing is I'm trying to go the other way, more comfort, but every car I have driven with a $20k+ more price tag is worse than the G. Going to drive the IS-F tomorrow even though I do not want a Sedan I want to see how well the Lexus rides compared to the M3. It was raining during my test drive today so I will have to go back and really take the M for a cruise this weekend if I don't like the Lexus. So far it's on the top of my list now that I have no interest in the E550 Coupe.

So Iceberg....did you end up buying an M3 yet? Or are you still holding off? By the looks of it, DiamondG got himself an M3 based on his avatar pic (sexy car by the way man!).

The M is awesome, I couldn't justify buying an Aston Martin Vantage for twice as much, which is what I really wanted but this will serve as a nice upgrade! I still think the G37 is the best car in it's class and a better buy and drive than an E-Coupe or S5, I will definitely buy the Infiniti GT-R (or whatever they call it) if it's out in the next two years or so.

Glad to hear it man! Alpine White is by far the sexiest color for the M3 coupe. Nice choice man. Got any pics or vids of the new ride?

Sorry for being so elusive Knox! I'm a paramedic and I've been working some crazy hours. Yes I did get the M and will post pics as soon as I can. I love this car!!!!!!!! The clutch is very slightly touchy (barely noticable) at low speeds, but this thing is a beast!!! I still kept my G because it's paid off. My biggest complaint about the M (besides the extremely boring interior compared to the G) is the gas mileage (the tank is tiny!) Other than that, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!!

What interior did you go with DiamondG ? The interior is pretty plain compared to the G, but the seates are serious! I also found out that on the '09 and '10 you can play dvd's in the dash with the parking brake up.

- Alpine White/Novilo
- Carbon trim
- Premium
- Tech
- 19's
- Premium Sound
- M-DCT
.pretty much everything but an alarm, however that worked out (MSRP: $72,8). Now I know why I never bought a BMW before, car costs $57k, options cost an entire Kia more, and I don't have an alarm hah

I agree completely. I decided to buy a CPO '09 - Alpine White/Black Novillo with the same equipment yours has except mine is a 6MT with 4K miles. I paid $55K but mine has no alarm or Ipod connection either!!
This car is too expensive not to have these little conveniences standard.
