Lol, thanks man. I'm REALLY glad I decided to wait. I purchased it, but it's being shipped to me here in FL. That same dealer has an '09 alpine white M3 vert with 4K miles for $51K! I always wanted a GT-R, but couldn't do anything close to $80K!!! As soon as it arrives at my door I'll happily take more pics.

By the way fellas, Vista BMW in Ft. Lauderdale still has that M3 I was looking at for sale. It's a GREAT car and only has 9K miles. The sales guy told me it's still there because nobody has been able to get financing for it. I really hope someone jumps on it.

One thing I will definitely miss though is a manual tranny. I hope all the rumors of the GT-R's tranny are mostly false, but I really won't be tracking the car. I got a crazy deal on a "beater" so I'll use that as my DD.

Wow...congrats man. That's an insanely good deal! I can't believe they're taking such a hit on the price. Definitely post up pics once she's in your garage. Damn I'm jealous. Once I get my student loans paid in the next 5 years, I'm SO buying another car.

Thanks a lot Knox. The only catch is that it's a cash only price and I have to pay the shipping, but I think it's worth it. I just wanted something different with more oomph, while staying in the Nissan family. I once considered just slapping the GTM TT kit on the G, but that would kill the warranty.

Yeah you made the right choice. The GT-R fits your needs perfectly. By the way, that teaser pic you first posted of the driver's front end was GORGEOUS. Whoever took that picture did a great job.

It's funny you mention that pic! After the transaction was done, I asked the sales guy to take a pic of what he thinks is the best angle of the car and send it to me. That was the first pic he sent!

Time for me to make these same decisions but I can't bring myself to spend $75k on a Nissan. The E550 Coupe is terrible and the M3 has a worse ride than the G37. Going to take a look at the IS-F today but I never cared for Lexus (or BMW or MB either).. Might be buying another G37, half the money and really better quality less the horsepower than any of the others I have driven. I would never buy another Audi but I do like the S6.

Yes it has Knox and it was delivered...with a f***ed up tranny!! I didn't even get to drive it for a whole week. I had diagnostics run at a local Nissan dealer and found out the damn car had been launched over 20 times!!
Needless to say I DEMANDED my money back and even had an attorney ready just in case. I got my G37 AND my money back. I'll be picking up an AW M3 coupe instead locally. Be VERY careful when purchasing a used vehicle these days fellas, especially one that's out of state. Even though the Carfax was clean, I still had a separate contract drawn by the dealer that gave me a 30-day supplementary warranty (and guarantee) that would protect me in case anything happened.

Wow man, that really sucks. Atleast you were able to get everything back for it.

Holy crap, thats serious. Glad you were smart and got that warranty up front.

Would you mind posting more details? Was the tranny issue noticible immediately? Or were you going to take it to Nissan for a check anyway? Anyone who buys a used GT-R should get a Carfax AND a diagnostic report from Nissan first.

Wonder who they are going to try and dump that car on next, too bad though, that interior was hotness. Too good to be true I guess.

I drove the M3 today, not that impressed with it compared to the G but it is a nice upgrade and should be a better buy than the GT-R.
