The ideal upgrade would be TT'ing your G.

You know BS I thought about that too. My biggest concern was voiding the warranty and TT maintenance. The G does have excellent reliability, but I don't know about the long run with the TT. I know it'll sure as hell last a sh*tload longer than the 335

If you're saying you can get a CPO '09 BMW M3 for $48k.....run, not walk to that dealer and lock that deal up!!! I'd do that in a heartbeat. Especially since I love the Alpine white M3....gorgeous car. And yeah, hit him up for 19" wheels.

I did some more research on the S5 and even though it's sex on wheels, it's quarter mile and stock overall performance is very close to that of the G37's! For that money, a TT is a better investment than spending the extra $$ to get into the S5.

That's exactly what the offer is Knoxville ,just a little over $48K. And it's actually 9K miles, not the 6K I mentioned earlier. I'm still trying to finagle the 19's from the sales guy but if I can't, then I'll grab a set of 20 inch SSR's or BBS LM's. It has EVERYTHING except the 19's and the CF roof (it has a sunroof).

I'm guessing I'm the only one here that thinks a TT G37 would be the route to go. GTM's TT Kit to be more precise. IS-F is a sedan, the M3 is, well it's a BMW (enough said) lol

The S5 looks faster than it is, I like it's styling though.

I don't disagree with you, but the deal there giving me is VERY tempting. I could save the money (and headache after warranty expires) and just TT my G, but the M3 is just sooo sexy One thing that I constantly think about though is how much nicer our interior is than that of the BMW's.

Holy crap...that's a great deal. Hell, i'd pay cash for the 19" wheel upgrade. $48k is $2k more than what my G cost, and it's a HELL of a lot more car. I agree that BMW's interior is plain. I saw a black S5 drive down the road last night and REALLY liked the way it looks. I just have issues in my head about Audi's reliability. Same goes for Bimmer.....lots of quality control issues, tons of service visits. But like it was said earlier, with it being an M, I'm assuming much more strict standards. Post up pics of the M3 bro!!!

Yeah Knoxville, I went on the Audi forums and the S5 seems to have A LOT of issues The deal I'm getting is crazy, but I can't help but think about what the TT kit would do for my G

Should I grab the deal and not look back? Or should I resist and TT the G?

By the way, here's a teaser of the M3....

Well, i hate to say this....and I LOVE my G....but I'd kick her outta bed for that M3 in a heartbeat. That car is a beast. And as far as going TT on your G37, that IS an option....but the way I look at it: are you ready to void your engine warranty by investing in a $15-20k kit/install that may blow your motor? That kit has NOT been on the market long enough for me to jump on the bandwagon. Then if the kit DOES hurt your motor, you're out $15-20k washed down the drain, then you need another $8500 engine, plus install labor. I'd give the TT kit some time on the market before I even CONSIDER that kind of investment. That's just my opinion.

So I'd say go for the M3.....DOOOO ITTTTT! And I typically don't like most white cars, but that car is gorgeous. And the wheels aren't bad at all. I'd need to see the 19s again. Good luck! I say grab that car and cross over to the dark side

The only question i have is....why are they selling it so cheap?!?

Everywhere I look I see a M3, everyone I know who owns a M3 really doesn't know much about cars and simply has a few bucks and wants to show off. I'd sacrifice the little difference you see on paper, and hardly any when you drive....S5

Yeah, the S5 is sexy as hell. Not nearly as fast/powerful as the M3, but Audi did their homework on the interior. I'd drive an S5 too. But like I said earlier, there are too many problems with Audis for me to wanna go buy one. If they work on their quality control, I'd get an S5.

I guess you're right, I never looked at it that way at all. As far as the price, they originally wanted $52K but I managed to talk them down since that same dealer gave my parents a brand new 328 coupe last year that had a bad tranny from the factory! That and the fact that it ORIGINALLY listed at $57K and they needed to move it badly. Very few people are in the market for this car right now due to the economy, insurance & fuel costs.

Here's a pic of the factory 19's by the way...

Here in south FL, I have yet to see many M3's on the road at all, but 335's are EVERYWHERE! Out of the 3 that I have seen, 2 were sedans. I also found an S5 for sale here as well. It's white with red int, but it's and 08, has more miles than the M, and is $55K firm! Don't get me wrong, it's a sexy car but real world performance numbers only put it a couple hairs above My G. For that money I might as well keep the G and put the extra $ into the engine & suspension! The S5 is ultra-sexy and stands out from the rest, but the performance and many reliability problems (check the Audi forums) aren't enough to sway me in the S5's direction.
