Awhile ago motortrend took a 2007 Z06 and did cams, intake, ecu, headers, exhaust (about 5k in parts). The car put down 650 rwhp NA with gobbs of torque that would destroy a TT G. I have seen 800 hp NA Z06s before as well with some crazy mods. Put a TT on a Z06, you are looking at 1000+ hp easy.

So no, TT the G and it is not game over. In the end there is no subsititue for displacement. But the camaro will still have ugly interior.
Stock block won't hold 1000hp for long. Which is why I went with a forged 454 stroker, and added an F1A Procharger. Which got me 850rwhp on conservative boost. Rough calculation, its about 1000hp at the motor. If I decide to swap pulleys, and up the boost, I can easily hit 1000 at the wheels.

Also no GM vehicle switches out an ECU or a piggyback. GM vehicles probably by far have the best ECU's out of any vehicle for a tuner to work with. All they require is a reflash. Another fix is... the Corvette has 1 cam, not many cams

Drivability, reliability, comfort, interior design, ergonomics, bang-for-the-buck I'll take an import over a domestic every day of the week and 8 times on Sunday. My personal opinion

+1 big time. Yeah the Camaro looks nice on the outside and may turn some heads...but what about when someone gets in that Camaro and sees the crappy inside? The G is an amazing balance of speed/performance AND luxury IMO. It blends the two so much better whereas the camaro is giving up a lot just for more straight-away speed. I'd take a G over a Camaro any day, and I get plenty of head turns as is.

I owned a couple of camaros one being a modified SS(older model but same basic config) it was faster then the G but it had no chance doing some of the things i do around corners in my G. Camaro destroys it in a straight line from a stop or from a roll. when it comes to backroads the G will make up the difference and it will be much more refined.

The camaro has nine months of turning heads at most. Once the public is over-run with v6 camaros, no one will care.

I looked on the Chevy website today and there is a "Transformers" option on new Camaros ...I'm sorry but any car that can be customized FROM THE DEALER after a movie (no matter how good said movie was), doesn't get my respect at all, no matter how fast on the drag strip.

RS is just an appearance package, it can be on either the V6 or the SS.

306hp at 3700lbs... but more torque than our G's. Keep in mind, our G's are 330hp, at 3600lbs Not too much of a difference. People are hitting 13.8-14.0 in the V6 base camaro. 12.8-13.1 in the V8

??? the 4th gen Camaro is an auto x monster. Especially some of the SS packages, with either the bilstein, or 1LE suspension upgrades.

Saw a Camaro on a road course Friday. Didn't care to see what type of Camaro it was (the exterior styling has even gotten a bit fugly on me now) but it was still garbage

Ya the new Camaro actually handles ok but falls behind against the G. The driving feel and refinement are not on par with the G . The V6 is otherwise boring. It will not run with the G in eigher a straight line or handling.

The SS in some tests acheived .90 on the skidpad so it holds the road at least as well as the G in cornering. But in th etwisties the G excels. In the Slalom the G is better... The Camaro is around 66MPH the G acheived around 72MPH which is fast.

no matter what Chevy does. It's still an American piece of junk that will start to fall apart in a year and start making funny sounds. Infiniti will still hold a better resale value.
