Yeah the base C6 is a few thousand dollars more than a fully loaded G37, MSRP-wise. I'm guessing you can get a little bit of a deal on the C6 and less of a deal on the G37, which will probably make them cost you almost the same.

So.... do you want a really fast car with not a lot of refinement, or a really refined car with not a lot of power (relative to the C6)?

The cars you're comparing are apples and oranges. I'd choose the G37 personally, but that's just me.

I went to Lamar too.

How much for insurance? I was just thinking about that too, but I just want to have that feeling of driving a real sports car. I been driving an Isuzu Rodeo for that past 5 years, and I drool every time I see a nice car right beside me. Also, I'm pretty sure I can get a C6 for around 48,000.

As far as insurance goes, if that is a deal breaker then go with the G37. You will be paying much more for the C6. The backseat on the G37 really helps us on the insurance and also the really good safety rating.

The only thing the Corvette does better than the G is performance. It is not as sexy, not NEARLY as refined, much cheaper interior, just has 436hp out of the box...
