I'm thinking Sun & Shade. It's just easier and closer for me up here (and the price is competitive with Clear Choice.) I'm planning on getting it done next week. Until then I'll be driving it very carefully around town.

so the clear bra installation went well. i arrived a half hour late because i had set my NAV for shortest route, taking me through every stop light until i realized i should go the *fastest route*. in any event, Wayne did the job in less than 3 hours, and that included having the fan on to dry the film for 1/2 hour. i can barely see the seams, which there are about seven of them. there are some edges where the 3M doesnt completely cover, but he said that's to prevent the film from rolling. after the job was done, he cleaned the front of the car and waxed it. he also gave me a bottle of 3M wax to put over the film. there might be some haze or bubbles for the next few days, but that should go away within the week he said.
all in all a positive experience. and the area it's in has a lot of nice curvy roads which i took advantage of. i felt much more secure driving with the prophylactic.

Ah great to hear...I'll be emailing him back. Did you get the 10 percent discount?
*I really like Skippack. It's a decent town to get a bite to eat and walk around. The wife loves it down there. Last edited by 09G37xCpe; 10-20-2009 at 04:59 PM. |
