1. RMP? RPM?
The VQ37 has a known overheating problem; additional/larger oil cooler SHOULD fix it. Limp mode AFAIK, is a lower RPM isn't it? I havn't personally run into it so I'm not sure. 2. aftermarket seat rails may be an answer; if you are dedicated to tracking the car and are willing to give up the electric adjustments, you can probably get a few inches lower. Additional recommendations for Streets of Willow: Baffled oil pan Oil sump These are (relatively) cheap preventative mods that will save your engine on the Bowl; it's not really an issue at CCW, but it is in CW. I have had friends blow stock engines with oil starvation. |

Yes it was limited to 6500 RPM My friend with 335i had a worst case what happened to him was gas peddal was not working at all after overheat.(CW) I dont want to give up the comfort yet... not yet I will use this for everyday for 3 more years. My other friend with s2000 changed seat rail yet he still can use the stock seat so if we can do it with our g37 i will Thank you anyway mike.....

Limp mode is dependant on how well your car is cooling off, and how hard you are driving. Remember, that your perception of driving hard, may be someone else's perception of cruising.
The BMW definately went into limp mode; it runs with no boost and I believe 3000 rpm. The Infiniti will go into limp mode as well, but I'm not sure what the circumstances for limp mode is. Hit me up the next time you go and I'll ride shotgun; maybe we can find an answer. Also, what color are you cars? (jungwoo and CVT) |

Seriously, you guys really need to put some extra oil cooler if you wanna track your G. Fun stops immediately once car goes into limp mode.

280 is way too high. Your oil is already acidic at that point....

JungWoo (I figure you're a Korean fella), I recommand you change your oil as soon as you can, too. Like Mike said, your oil is already acidic...
