We could do Rochester if we don't go earlier during the year or Stillwater as a finale destination and cruise on backroads.

Stillwater is more small ma and pa shops, and VERY busy DT on the weekends, so would be hard to stay together.

What if we did the triangle...cruise down to Winona...over to Roch..and back up to the cities?? It would def be a full day cruise, but the trip along the river would make for some great photos for sure!

Ice cream in Nelson, WI ....lunch in Winona at perkins or if we could wait for Rochester....hmmmmm, got me thinkin' now!

We could also invite all the Z, TL, BIMMER, Lexus, and I could ask Nate if his LX club would be interested(obviously they would stay in the back in the twisties)

If you guys are interested, I could maybe take you on the cruise I do with the MN 3/S guys. Maybe sometime this Fall. Take a look at this map:
http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=80...,17,18,19&z=10

Some of these roads are insanely fun. But Lance may be worried on some of the roads. A super low G might have a couple of scary parts. But all the roads are paved and most are in decent shape.

later,
Curt

Curt your link^^ doesn't work

The twisty route I have mapped out over in WI was fun as he//, as well as the map that Dave put together down below Wabasha. I just can't stand rocks/sand hitting my front bumper...>AHHH<

Since my front is being resprayed next week, I'll either be WAY behind everyone or WAY upfront. All of the rain that we've gotten will help a lot though. The spring meets are hit or miss since there's still sand all over

Hmmm, not sure how to fix it. Works on my computer. I'll attach a jpg so you can get the idea. There are some fun roads down there. I don't blame you for not wanting to put your front end through it. I put my 3/Ses in full battle mode with the bra on the hood, bumper and mirror covers.

Great minds must think alike. LOL I just studied the maps using Bing. Then one weekend I mapped out a route, and then ran it a couple weeks later. Back in 2009 I don't think I had ever been on the G35 or G37 forums.

I think there are a lot of groups that run on those roads down there. There is a lot of fun to be had down there.

Curt

We would have to do Newts if we stopped in Rochester. They have THE greatest burgers! I got Tevi to drive down and have one and he said it was worth the drive

I was just going to say the same thing. Voted best burgers like 7 years running or so. Def the best I've had. A lot of great creations and I've been wanting to go back for so long but the wife moved away from Rochester obviously. Maybe do the reverse triangle, Rochester for lunch, Winona then Nelson for ice cream and the twisties and photo ops along the river to cap it off?

Of course I am. With a possibility of sunset-ish picture ops too, asking the river. Sounds pretty damn sweet to me. Plus this way, we can drive to Mike, instead of making him drive to us for once.

Thing is...we'll be driving to him...and he'll still end up cruising back up to the cities w/ us anyways That night Mikey you can crash and my place if ya want if you don't work that Sunday. I could have a pool bash that Sunday or something...

Yes, but he always has to anyway. This way, he is saved from one of those trips. What kind of dates are we looking at for this thing antsy?

Prob Mid October. I remember last year I bought my car in Oct and I stored it a week later. Weather is obviously the huge deciding factor. Since we're having the nissan meet EARLY September, prob the 2nd weekend of October???
