GTM test pipes

So i bought the gtm test pipes awhile ago, and i really loved them alot... Over a month ago, i was driving and getting off the florida turnpike and getting on to i95 and all of a sudden my car just made a ridiculous sound. I took it to a shop, and they said that it was a leak in my exhaust. So i thought it was the magnaflow but i found out this weekend that it wasnt my magnaflow. It was the test pipes, i never knew because i really didnt look under the car, which was extremely stupid of me. But, who would ever think that gtm test pipes would break, the whole where the exhaust leak is huge and it doesnt look pretty at all. I am extremely upset, because i ordered a new magnaflow thinking i could do a warranty exchange with them, and cvr motorsports is extremely helpful and their customer service is great. I bought a new exhaust, and once i sent the old one back, they would give me my money. But no, it was the test pipes, and now i cant return the exhaust. I was fed up, and i bought berk high flow cats, i dont want to deal with gtm. So basically my weekend sucked, and oh yeah i had to book a flight back up to orlando.

Here are pictures

So let me get this straight, you were just driving normally getting on an on ramp then all of a sudden your test pipes popped a big hole in it? What in the name of hell could cause that....there's something missing here. I have the test pipes myself and had no problems so far...they look pretty solid. Sorry what your saying doesn't add up to me...

Sorry to hear that.
I don't understand how it did happen.
Do you mean there was a big hole on the test pipe??

also, if you talk with the GTM, I'm pretty sure that they will take care of you...

Can you take pics showing us how big the "hole" is?

Where is it located? Bottom side (Facing the ground)?

You do know test pipes are made of Steel and there's only one way really to get a hole in them while driving.

You definitely need to call the GTM tommorow..
I'm running the GTM testpipes also, but its quality isn't that cheap from what I have seen. I still love my test pipes. There is a person running over 40,000 miles with the GTM test pipes. I don't know who he is though. I'm pretty sure the GTM will take care of you well..

I don't understand how you can blow a huge hole in the test pipe, unless there was a crack in the weld from what I'm assuming? I would have had it checked out professionally before coming to your own conclusion.

This happend to me once too. I parked my car before going into the mall. Little did I know that I parked ontop of a war zone. The Lizards werer fighting against the ants for control of the median strip. It looks like a turd bomb was thrown at one of the parties but hit my test pipe while it was hot and boom! it burned a hole
