*SOUND CLIP* of the Infamous Muffler Rattle - Page 14

Dealer reported needed "muffler dampener" as the fix for this on my car; not a new muffler. We'll see how it holds up.

does anyone have paper work or anything i can show the dealer that my car is doing this, its been doing it for some time but they said theres nothing they can do ...... idiots cuz mines terribly loud i can hear it from inside my condo! im guna send em an email with the youtube links etc etc

just bring the TSB in to them. tell them to call erickson infiniti to confirm this is an issue and they have fixed it before.

Does anyone know where to get the TSB of if there is like an "infiniti TSB" depository. My exhaust was doing it and after me telling them like 3 times, because each time they could not "recreate the sound", they changed my muffler. The noise is back again. They told me the reason the noise was there was because the mounting bracket was loose???

This is frustrating because they don't want to fix it and I'm 19 so they won't give me a rental car, even though I purchased a new car from them by myself. That should be a good case of age-discrimination....if it only existed

that's funny, I forgot that I had a rattle on cold start and brought my car in for an oil change....service guy heard it start up and told me he was going to replace the muffler and that it was a known issue. Funny, I always thought they were a bit short sighted here but I guess they did me right.
