Exhaust Difference between 07 G35 and 08 G37
Can anyone tell me if there is a significant difference between the two stock sytems? If so, what are the differences?
I ask because one manufacturer I've talked to say they are closer to doing a system for the G37 than they are to doing one for the G35. Does anyone think an aftermarket system would be interchageable between the 07 G35 and G37? |

I get the impression that they are two significantly different ewxhause systems that share perhaps a few components.

After looking at a few pictures under the G37, it looks like there is one big muffler in the back mounted horizontal whereas the G35 sedan uses two smaller mufflers running front to back on each side.
It seems like everything is the same up to the rear mufflers . Last edited by terrycs; 09-20-2007 at 12:25 AM. |

That's how the G35, G37 and Z mufflers are. But doesn't the 35 coupe use a Y pipe to put one pipe into the muffler, where as the 37 uses an H pipe and two pipes running into the single muffler? I might have it mixed up somewhere but I'm thinking that's how it goes...
