I was able to have a Stewart's a couple of weeks ago while travelling. Not bad. I have been so busy with work, business, and fabricating grounding kits in every spare second that I have had little tome to search for different stuff here locally. I better just order new stuff online.

I do have 2 12 packs of my good old standby - A&W in the fridge right now. I have to sneak them becaue my wife says i drink too much crream soda and not enought water. She thinks I'll have kidney failure before I'm 50. She's probably right.

Jones Soda FTW. Also Faygo is a Detroit classic, Faygo began calling it "pop" and that's how it began being called "pop" in the Midwest. I don't know if it's available everywhere but I think they have a Cream Soda too.

I recently did a blindfolded taste test. I am serious.

I tested 5 sodas that are easily found locally. Price range varied. I poured a few sips of each into identical glasses and put on a blindfold. I had my wife hand them each to me in random order.

Results based strictly on taste (sweetness, creaminess, "vanillaness", smoothness):

1 Stewart's Cream Soda
3 (tie) IBC Cream Soda
3 Genuine Hank's Gourmet Vanilla Cream Soda
4 A&W Sparkling Vanilla Cream Soda
5 Jones Cream Soda

The Jones was quite a disappointment compared to the rest which were all pretty close. It's made with pure cane sugar (as is Hank's) but had a hard to describe "twang" to it that wasn't very palatable.
