Leaving the G for a Year (advice)

Hi I am going to Korea for 1 year to teach English there and I was wondering what I should do before I leave. I heard I'm suppose to drive it once a week but no one in my family know's how to drive a stick.

Advice would be very helpful.

or you could put it on jacks, take the rims off and disconnect the battery.... but that's usually for like a winter hibernation....lol.....dunno if it's good for a whole year.

definitely need someone to drive it once a month...at least start it up

You may want to think about selling it and save the insurance as well. I'm not a fan of car hibernations.

If you jack the car up, you don't have to take the wheels off. Oh, and change the oil.

Find a friend or someone you trust to take the car out for a 15 minute drive twice a month. Then you wont have to bother with any of that other stuff.

I wouldnt do that If I'm keeping the car. Someone figures where you've "hibernated" and you can kiss your wheels goodbye to start with.
