Lowering help needed for tomorrows alignment

im going in for alignment tomorrow, the coilovers sag set in, i noticed i dropped alot. i cant even fit my finger in the gap in the rear. front would be the same if i had the spacers on. so i notice my left rear rubs in a turn but not my right..... i know i gotta run some neg camber i believe im at 1.9- as we speak. what can i run so i dont rub and not completely kill my tire in a few months. i got the camber and toe arms in the rear installed and A arms up front. just wondering if anyone can give me some insight for what i should tell the alignment guy to set the rears at..??? i dont wanna rub but i love the height so i need to either get the camber right or raise it up. the only prob with raising is im already at max height on the rear springs.... im waiting for BC to get back from sema. i think i might have the wrong spring. which in that case if i put in a new spring am i gonna need another alignment?

I don't think he is saying you don't need an alignment, I think you definitely do. You're just going to need another one after you make all the adjustments. So if you can't wait for the alignment until you get it dialed in, do it. But another one will be coming quickly.

Go to a place with lifetime alignment. Are you rear springs 230mm or the older 210mm?

thats the thing its hard for me to get dialed in without knowing im 100%..... plus i gotta get in touch with a bushing company tomorrow to find out about some quieter bushings because thats where the noise is coming from and i gotta wait till next week to get the new rear springs from BC (if its the wrong springs i got) im also clearing out gt spec tomorrw and getting all the goodie braces they have, gotta hit up stillen tomorrow and see if they wanna send me a rear sway bar to while im at it. cause i know the fronts dont work (not that it matters there pretty beefy to begin with.

It's not the spring that determines whether or not your tire rubs. The suspension will travel the same arc. However a stiffer or longer spring can help keep the tire away from the fender. Wheel offset, tire width and camber will make a bigger impact on clearing the fenders if you don't want to change the ride height.

+42 offset 285/30 tire and im running 1.8- camber...... the drivers side is -2.0 camber and that doesnt seem to rub. front is low and doesnt rub but i didnt put the spacer in yet, not sure if im gonna just yet! bc called and he is sending me out a longer rear shock and a spring spacer made just for AWD sedans. so we will see what that does then ill hit up the alignment. any suggestions on camber #'s that wont chew my tire off in a couple 1000 miles. really like where im at rear height wise, i cant even fit a finger in there....

then make the other side -2.0

with toe at about .6

I suppose you cut your fender liner already and shaved down the metal bracket? If you haven't I suggest to do so. that will help clear way for more positive camber.

Right around -2 seems pretty decent to me...I ran that on my sedan for years. Went through T1Rs about every 15k which I was really happy with.

why not? it doesn't any affect to the car whats so ever. fender liner is just cardboard; you'll only be cutting less than an inch width, and the metal piece is just shaving it down.

but go ahead and run more negative camber to get your wheels to fit. Like the old saying... It pays to play.

by the way.. I'm running +15 with -1.8 camber. So I knew what I was getting myself into.
