Vossen cv1 *** NIGHTMARE - Nevermind, I FREAKED OUT***

so i got the cv1 matte black 20x9 front 32 offset and 20x10.5 rear 42 offset
and this car is getting lowered today and tomorrow with all the goodies full coilovers (BC) kinetix camber caster rods, A arms up front and rear toe arms, you name it. so i put on the brand new vossens with 245/35/20 up front and 285/30/20 rear and wow it looks so bad!!! and i mean terrible, wheel is sticking out like crazy in the rear. i dont know how this wheel is gonna look flush. im contemplating getting a whole new set of wheels. i dont think these are for me. i would have stretched the tire in the rear with a 255 or 275 but i cant cause its awd so now im really upset!

check out the pics!!!! btw there up for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

once you drop it the wheels will tuck into the fender a little but that rear looks pretty off. some of the better wheel gurus can chime in though.

First, drop it and GET ALLIGNMENT DONE (Allignment seems off thats why it looks like that)
and go carwash and do tire shine thingy, brand new tires look really dirty and ugly.

Drop it, get an alignment, THEN make a decision on whether you like it or not.

+42 is conservative, even on a sedan.

I test fitted a 20x10 +43mm offset with 275/30/20 last week on my sedan and felt it should work fine. Just be sure to tell the guy doing the alignment to dial-in a little bit of negative camber and I think you'll be good to go. Im only lowered about 1.3" in the rear though.

I was thinking another option is to stretch a 255/30 on the rear and maybe run a 225/35 on the front. Should still be less than a 0.2" difference in diameter. Not sure if you wanna to roll with the stretched tire look though.

So the fact that it's an X sedan, would that be a major contributor to the look? Would a 9 inch rim be better? Just playing Devils Advovate.
