Pictures of my 09 G37xs
Hi all, been around the site a bit and thought I'd post up pics of my G37xs that I picked up about 2 weeks ago. So far I've done a full front end paint protection film and carbon fiber vinyl accents. Next is black chrome wheels and and possibly carbon fiber vinyl-ing the whole roof.
I'd like to put on 245's instead of the 225's but my dealership says there might be a clearance issue, especially up front. Anyone done this on an AWD yet?

that CF wing would look fantastic with the CF diffuser coming out!
CF roof overlay only seem to look good on white G's, JMHO.
EDIT: The infiniti key hole delete with a CF overlay would nicely finish off the door handles BTW!

Thanks for the thumbs up everyone! We're really enjoying accessorizing our ride for sure!
We're saving up to get a supercharger, if they actually get the kit ready to go one day...
The reason It looks good, is because I've done window tinting & clear bra paint protection film installation since about '91, so I'm used to working with films in general. This was my first attempt at the carbon fiber vinyl, & it IS tricky to work with... The passenger mirror is a bit more wavy, haha. Have to re-do it some day.
Haven't done the window trim yet, because it starts a slippery slope... Do this piece, you MUST do that piece, & so on till the car is coated in full!
Anyways, I just saw this carbon fiber film at SEMA, & am curious to see just how long it can last in the hot Texas weather this next year.
So, question!! Should I go with a gunmetal or pewter rim, or painted black, or black chrome? (The dealership I bought from can get MY 18" rims sprayed with whatever they do for black chrome, for a much better deal than buying new rims, so that's my 1'st potential option.) But, I'm not sure if I can get 245 wide tires on these stock 18" rims...

That's what the parts manager at the dealership suggested, but he wasn't sure if the backspacing would allow the wider wheels & the wider tires to clear the suspension, or if it might rub. He said to come by after hours one day & we could give it a test.
