Steering wheel clicking/moving

Hello Everyone

I would like to get your opinion and assistance. I have a 2009 G37 sedan w/ prem and navi and I love how this car just drives overall. I just got my TCM update with the rough downshift and planning to get my ECU update for the RPM flare on my next visit.

However, I have an issue with my steering wheel.

1st When I drive in a straight line and hit a small bump, I feel it in my steering wheel as if something is loose with the linkage.

2nd When I'm turning left/right, I would feel and hear a clicking sound.

I tried to duplicate this on a straight line or while turning, but unsuccesful in doing so. It happens intermittently from time to time. I tested my car in my garage, turn her on and steer from side to side and no luck.

Has anyone heard or seen this anywhere in the forum. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Myne makes a clicking noise when I am first pulling out of my driveway in the morning, but never does it udner any other circumstances. It might be casue I am pulling on it as I have to turn and look over my shoulder. It feels like the linkage, but its very very minor and plasticky so i am not worried. Good luck!

I have the 2nd "clicking" issue when I turn far to the left. It is faint, and I only notice it at very slow speeds (like parking or backing up) and when radio is off. I plan to have it checked when I take it in for first oil change.

Thanks all for the feedback. I will bring her in soon for an oil change and will discuss this with my advisor. Hopefully it's something minor or maybe normal in some conditions.
