I've had my G37X since March 31. On April 3 when I applied the brakes, the car just kept accelerating and I rear ended someone. It was raining and I thought it was my fault. I had the car checked out at the Infiniti dealer and they gave it a clean bill of health. Last Saturday as I was coming to a stop sign, the same thing happened and the weather was clear and dry. The car just kept bucking forward and I landed up in the intersection. This time I didn't hit anyone. I took it in and the dealer said there was a TSB09-032b that would fix the car. No where can I find anyone else complaining that their car didn't stop and I am not convinced that this TSB fixed my problem. The car is still at the dealer because I refuse to drive it. Does anyone know anything? Thanks.

Just thought this would be the best place to introduce myself based on prior forum experiance.

I am picking up my 2009 G sedan tomorrow from Infiniti of Mission Viejo. The car will be the Journey model with Premium, Navi and Sport package. My previous car was a 2003 Evo VIII and prior to that I had a 95 240sx. I have always been a Nissan/Infiniti fan based on a family members employment with Nissan from the early 80's to the late 90's. I left the Nissan family for the Evo just due to the fact that I wanted a Turbo motored car that I could tinker with and boy did I get the chance to tinker with that ride. Well that ended suddenly on October 19 when I accidentally rear ended someone that had stopped for a pedestrian in a cross walk when I was looking out the passenger side window of my car. I figured with the loss of my Evo and my current age and family situation, it was time to ditch the Miso ride (a term coined by one of my coworkers and not meant to offend anyone here) and to buy a more sensible family car that I could continue to modify and was a hoot to drive in stock form. BTW, I am no stranger to modifying cars as my wifes current ride is a 2003 FX35 with a full HKS GT super charger and my Evo was also well put together with many parts from the HKS catalog. I guess you could say that I am pretty much an HKS whore.

I am still an active member with socalevo.net and am also a moderator for that site. If your interested in checking it out, my screen name is hksevo8 over there.

I can't wait to pick up my new car tomorrow and hope to get the chance to meet many of the other owners on this site. I will also post pics of my prior cars and my new car just as soon as I figure out how to do so on this forum. I look forward to learning alot from the members here and hope to be a fine addition to your site.

Whats the deal folks...
I bought my Black G37 6MT coupe back in April...I joined the forum soon after. I love the car...the shifting paddles grew on me, but I hate the delay...I previously owned a 5sp MT 98 Max. But I'm just now starting to research doing some mods on G for this coming spring. And I do have one question that comes to mind...does lowering the car with lowering springs vs. using coil-overs require anything additional besides putting the springs on the car? I had a 98 Maxima before I got the G, and lowering with springs left more space in the front wheel well than the back...I hated that, I want an equal amount of space between the tire and the well in the front and the back and I'm just wondering if the springs will do that without having to do something additional..like some shaving or whatever.
Can anybody shed light on that for me?

Hello all

I own a 2009 G37 Sedan and it does not have the High Tech package, therefore no GPS. I am purchasing a Garmin GVN 35, and will be receiving it in the next couple of days. It is my understanding that the GPS will connect to the RCA imput of the car's entertainment center and therefore the GPS will operate when the system is in "auxillary" mode. So it appears as though if I am using the GPS, I cannot listen to the radio. Does anyone have suggestion(s) on how I can use the GPS and listen to the radio feature at the same time???
Thanks M
