My family has two G37 coupes (yes, we're spoiled :5091:)...I have one and my sister has one, they both happen to be at around 30k miles. In the past month, every other day or so, one of our car batteries would die...They're the '08 models.

Obviously one would think for a new battery, but, dont batteries usually last a minimum of 3-5 years? Or does it go by mileage?

What Im trying to see is... is it a coincidence that both the cars are having the same problems? or is there a problem with this line of G's with batteries? We're not leaving the lights on or anything, we leave it on auto.

For example, I was listening to music in my car after about 20 minutes of driving, the car was off and i was listening to music for 5 minutes...and the car wouldn't start.

Just wondering if I should just go ahead and get the new battery or is there another factor that should be assessed?

Thanks

Well my G is almost 1.5 years old and only 11k miles and the things sounds like a perverbial trash dumpster lid being opened and closed. I now have an annoying squeak from the dashboard area that has developed over the last few days and the on-going rattle from the sunroof area that the dealer has yet to find/fix.

I am really disappointed by the "quality" that Infiniti has put into this product of theirs. They claim to be on the level of Lexus or BMW, but honestly guys if my car is any indication of their standard production quality it is far from those prestigous marques.

People always rag on American quality, but I persoanlly owned a GMC Jimmy that lasted ten years that NEVER had the noise for rattles et al that this $42,000.00 car has. Would I recommend this car to a family member or friend? Well maybe, if they put the engine in a Lexus quality body.

Sorry for the rant, but this really is something I would have never thought would have been an issue. I plan on writing a letter to Infiniti detailing the things I have outlined here.

Hi.

Many of you probably recognize the name already but I'd just like to say hello and that Limited Edition is now officially a forum sponsor! :eek3:

I have been doing headlight conversions by word of mouth for quite some time now. After much planning, we (my partner and I), decided that we would like to share our vision by making quality parts widely available for forum members. Since we are both still G owners just like everyone here, we understand both sides of the game. The fact that we don't have to rely on Limited Edition as a sole source of income sets us apart from a true business.

We are both fortunate and unfortunate enough to maintain a full time job outside of Limited Edition. As a result, our goal is to turn the majority of our funds back into R&D to make more products and keep overhead at a minimum. In other words, when you make a purchase, you're also making an investment. After breaking even, we will use the capital (from you) to start on the next project, which hopefully, makes its way back to you and the cycle continues :)

Our other goal is to focus heavily on customer service. Started with the headlight conversion, I've always operated under the principle to treat others how you'd like to be treated. We will continue to strive for positive reviews and make sure everyone's taken care of.

To start with, here's what we will be offering:

iForged and Forgestar wheels
iForged Performance Wheels | The next generation in forging technology - Global Site
Forgestar Wheels | The Worlds 1st 1 piece lightweight flow formed wheel lineup
Currently, we have introductory pricing for all iForged and Forgestar wheels. There's been a few complaints about their customer service on different forums but if you purchase through us and have any issue or concern, we will take care of all the communications and track down a reasonble solution. There would be no reason for you to call and not be kept informed of the status of you claim. We will also make a point to provide timely updates on the production.

Headlights conversion
Different LED conversions and painting schemes available. If you have any questions about the different options or simply how it compares to any competitor, I will be more than glad to help.

Carbon Fiber
I am very excited to say that we have finalized a few designs for different parts that will hopefully go into production soon. Starting with this:
http://myg37.com/forums/interior-ext...ml#post2807000
With every purchase of any CF parts, we can provide you with the following:
1. The batch where your part is in and the completion date
2. Estimated shipping date
3. Test fitting result
4. Tracking number once shipped

If you have any questions at all (headlights, background, future parts...etc), please don't hesitate to ask.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for the support thus far. Without it, Limited Edition wouldn't ever exist. So Please please feel free to chime in if we've done business before or if you just want to say hi :hello:

I just want to know why there is no Akevono on G37x AWD coupe.

Is it because of the small size of wheels (18') or the AWD system?
