I've been in the market for the g37 coupe, and I've noticed that the TMV invoice price for the g37 coupe at Edmunds is quite a bit lower than the standard invoice price (~$1000 for certain setups). I've talked with a few dealers, and they're trying to give me the runaround about how it isn't accurate and that they can't honor that price. Has anybody actually gotten the dealer to give them the TMV price or start negotiations from that price?

The price makes sense this economy sucks balls right now, but they don't seem to care! So if anybody can post their experiences, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

The Infiniti site has a $20 less a month quote on coupe lease. My dealer tells me they reduced the money rate and changed the residual to make that happen but took back the $500 dealer sell down so it is really the same deal and what they are doing for me is all they can do. Any ideas?

An introduction:
So i've been lurking around this site and the370z.com trying to pull the trigger on a car but after an impulse decision given some good incentives, decided to pick up the car about 2 months earlier than expected. Really excited as this was my first big purchase on my own. The whole experience is still surreal and settling in.

First like to mention, Sewell Infiniti in DFW area is a great dealership. Highly recommending them as they are a notch above most dealerships I've been in.
Although I'll have to remove their sewell badge =\

After VPP and incentives, got MSRP 43,655 down to 35,658 +ttl
red 6mt sport w/ prem,nav,kicks
Only thing missing that I wanted was the nav spoiler and splash guards.

I'm still trying to decide what things I want to do to it. I was worried at first with the red color, but all i have to say is that I'm very happy I took this over the IP that was available

I'm opening this up for advice on some tried and true mods.
First is my goal for this car.
1) keep it clean and nothing too flashy.
2) all said and done, spend no more than 4.5k in 'upgrades'

A few things on my wish list that i know I will want to get (in order):
1) tint
2) radar
3) wheels
4) spoiler (either something close to stock, or the grubbs v3 that is pending release)
4) exhaust & intake (but only if i can find a pair, so to speak, that sound close to stock note, only louder)

on the fence about:
1) eibach springs. depending on how wheels look w/o it (had springs on my previous car and loved it, but don't want to worry about replacing struts in the future)
2) bat overlays for valence and/or gtr taillights. At first i liked it but not completely sold on this after i've seen it multiple times.
3) arc reactor mod.

Probably missed a few and the list will probably grow or shorten over time.
The big thing for me right now is finding wheels that i like and deciding if i want to get springs. I'm really diggin the vossen 082, but also want to wait around for vossen to release their new concave designs:
Teaser: Vossen VVS-CV1 ---- Our new monoblock CONCAVE design - Nissan 370Z Forum

***
Anyway I should probably end this long a** post with the shameless request for an AMEX partner who has a referral code! =)) It would make my list of things to get a bit shorter :icon17:

***Will be willing to give you more than $150! PM me and we can talk

I WILL GET PICS UP ASAP.
Gotta break out the cam and find a good spot to take some pics. unfortunately, this morning i picked up the car, had to go in for work, and stuck here away from my baby until 7pm =\. le sigh.
