Stargate Universe on SyFy

From the creators of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. It airs October 2 on SyFy.

Basically this is supposed to be more like Battlestar Galactica just with the Stargate twist. So for all you SciFi fans out there get your DVR ready (i know i will)

Seen the comercials. I'll probably set the DVR, LOL. But, if the first couple of episodes suck I'll delete the event. Dish Network.

So disappointed, no pointy eared women in tights... I thought they came with all spacecraft... bummed.

In case you missed it the 2-hour season premier was last Friday. I'm sure SyFy is showing reruns of it. Was actually pretty decent.

I don't know, wasn't impressed. So it took a MIT grad to tell a doctorate. that hey, they might not have been thinking of using the planet your on with the only capable Stargate as the origin.. instead it's Earth and it's a code...LOL. The default should have been assuming earth and the correction the only capable stargate.. THAT at least makes sense.

I think SyFi should stick to Sci-Fi comedies... do a series on the Galaxy Quest movie... that would be entertaining and more aligned to their imaginative capabilities and budget. I could use another fix of Sigourney's MILF cleavage and seeing a group of everyday folks take on command of a starship and boldly going where they would normally not go if given the choice.... I'm sure Tool man could have solved the SGU puzzle as well.

^ Yep... you bring out some good points. Let's hope it gets better. I'm going to give it at least 4-5 episodes to see if I can get into it.

I've seen the first 3-4 episodes and I love SG Universe. Great show. I also think it will get even better with time.

We'll they did bring up one interesting thought... if you had a chance to do your wife who you haven't seen for awhile and may never again, would you do'er in another guys body...lol.

It looks like the captains about to find out why you wouldn't want to do this judging by how the last episode ended.
