I saw 'Meet the Browns' and 'Drillbit Taylor' this weekend. 'Meet the Browns' was a pretty good movie, typical Tyler Perry story, Madea was only in 3-5 minutes of the movie but it was still quite funny at times. It was more of a drama than a comedy but worth watching imo. 'Drillbit' was a story about some nerds who needed protection from the school bully. A funny 'nerd' story sort of like The Benchwarmers.

I rented We Own the Night because it seemed like an interesting plot and had some really good actors in the cast. I was way wrong. This movie sucks. Save your $4. Just rent Donnie Brasco again and you'll be happier.

I'm not sure that character/sketch will be entertaining for a whole 2 hour movie. Maybe it will, but it may quite possibly be taking something really funny and trying to do too much with it and it may suck. Pun intended.
