Transmission oil change

I just clicked over 34k miles on my 08 G37S 6MT. I took it to the dealer a few weeks ago and they told me I needed to change my transmission oil and differential oil. The price they quoted was $200. I didn't think I would need a tranny oil change so soon. What do you guys think. Has anybody else gotten the transmission/diff oil change and is it necessary yet?

It's definitely not necessary but I do mine every 25,000 miles. I figure it's very cheap insurance

I hear ya. But at $200 its not that cheap. I guess I'll check the local Nissan dealer and see what they charge for this service....

It is very easy to change both yourself!! Do a search! I remember seeing very detailed pics and explanation.

I got brakes changed under warranty. If I had to pay for that it would have been $1200. Blame it on the economy
