Does anyone else find it ridiculous

... when the lip of the wheel sticks out really far and there is no tire covering it?? Sometimes I see posts with aggressive offsets and people say it "looks sick". It makes me think of that exposed rim scraping along a curb, and I get chills like nails on a chalkboard.

I think it looks retarded. Just my 2 cents.

A friend of mine's tire ripped to pieces going 80mph on the freeway with traffic everywhere. He had stretched tires. Almost crashed. Probably would have hurt himself and others.

After that incident, he called me and said no more stretched tires.

Hope that doesn't happen to anyone else with the sick VIP look.

My feeling about the uber stretched tires that's 1 size too small is the same as guys wearing skinny jeans.

^Because of that, you must now post a picture of yourself. Otherwise,

I think he was on Falkens, I'm not sure.

I think it looks ok but not practical at all so I would never go that extreme. I like wheels with lip and do like a little stretch on the tire but not to the extreme that people are doing lately.

I assume we wont see the thread about when their tire shreds or blows or when the wheel is destroyed. That will remain the dirty little secret.

"Looks sick" or is just "sick" looking? English language is so much fun.
