Driver Window Power Issues

Today, when I went to turn off my car, the driver window would open automatically upon turning off the car. The window also can not be rolled back up unless the driver door is closed door is closed. When I get out and open my passenger door, the passenger window rolls half way down. My trip mileage, presets, every custom setting was blanked.

What happened???

Anyone know a fix? Thanks!

OK - Now the horn and alarm horn are going off by themselves. I yanked the fuses so the noise would go away.

Also, the Auto-Up/Down function doesn't work. You have to hold the switch down.

This is awesome!

You should take it to the dealer.

I am in Lubbock, so no near Infiniti dealer. The Nissan dealer won't even do an oil change for me. Kinda stuck other than Infiniti Roadside - which is like dealing with Dell Tech Support.

I am starting to think that cold weather and an underlying electrical issue are the culprit.

http://myg37.com/forums/g37-coupe/19...to-grubbs.html

February 2009 I had this mess, and it started in October/November before the 6 times of being towed to Infiniti.

Wonder how I can present the issues to them where they will actually fix it.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for 15 minutes. Then reconnect it and perform the window reset procedure outlined in your owners manual. That may fixi it.

When you have gone to the dealer did the tech come out so that you could show him what it was doing? If not then if you have to take it back tell them you would like to see if the tech can come out. The dealership I went to sent a tecj out to ride with me to check everything out (different issue than you were having).

Yea I had a tech ride with me. But only some of the symptoms could duplicate so not everything was fixed. The temp was different at DFW than Lubbock so it wasn't really a fair comparison. But they don't care.

No, but thought about the El Paso or OK City dealers instead. It just sucks since the car is towed there and I'm not there in person. They kinda string you along and complaining over the phone doesn't make the scene it does in person. Just gonna get it to work till Christmas break when I got more time off of school/lab.
