The Spurs got a whole lot better than the Magic did. Manu is back, DeJuan Blair was drafted, and they added Richard Jefferson and Antonio McDeyess. A lot of people have them pegged right up there with the Lakers to compete for the Western Conference Title. |
I agree that the Mavs won't get far, but I do like Marion at the 3 much better than Josh Howard. I think they're sleepers for this year. As far as the Magic, I still think they improved with VC (MUCH better than Courtney Lee), and Rashard gets to play his natural position with Turkoglu gone, so they vastly improve as a perimeter threat. But who cares, most likely either the Celtics or Cavs will best them in that conference.
This should be a very interesting season...but there can only be one winner.
