Sorry, didn't see your post. If you pay invoice and there are no incentives, the sales guy will see a mini deal ($100 or less, depending on the dealer). Chances are, he or she will not sell at invoice for that reason only. I already mentioned holdbacks, but incentives are available to anyone. If
someone came to me asking for our incentives, I always tell them.
A good comeback is simple, "Then at what price will you sell to me where you make some coin and I save plenty?" Be kind to the sales people. This is a living for some people. remember, you're going to them for a sale, not the other way around.
It is a shame to hear you with a painful death for your sales guy, I don't feel that way about you.
